So I have been presented with an opportunity to travel for a month. The initial plan was to travel around with my buddy Aaron in India and continue our trek of the world. Unfortunately Aaron caught a serious case of "lame-itous". He is resting right now, I am wishing him a quick and speedy recovery.
So off I go...
Arriving at the airport 10 minutes before my flight was to take off, I was told that I would have to come back the next day as the later flight to the Hong Kong does not have a transfer to Nepal till the next day. But fortunately the staff accommodated my request to fly out that day and stay in Hong Kong for two nights before heading out to Nepal. So here I am in Hong Kong : )
After landing, going through customs, then finding a hostel to set my bag down in, I headed out to see the Tsim Tsui waterfront to get a nice view of the cityscape across the bay. It was neat to see the city with a foggy mist clouding the lights, it gave it a real casual mood to the night. Along the path of the waterfront is the Hong Kong's version of the Blvd. of Stars in front of Mann's Chinese theater in Hollywood. The two worthy of me stopping, or I should say, the only two I knew and respected was Jackie Chan and of course the Legendary Bruce Lee.
