Last Saturday I went near the border of Tibet to go bungee jumping. It was a three hour drive to the resort which had the special bungee bridge. The drive turned into a 7 hour drive as there was a highway closed off due to a protest about a villager being hit by a vehicle the day before. The 14 others that were there with me to jump, also grabbed their stuff and started walking the few miles to the other side of town. There a secondary bus came to pick us up. (In the picture you can see the line of cars spanning the mountain.)
The walk through the village.
Glad I only had my small messenger bag to carry,
unlike many who had their suitcases with them.
The road blocked by locals, burning tires and a trunk of a tree.
The jump was great. It was what I expected as in it would be crazy scary. I tooled up and bought the packaged video and shirt. I'll post the video once it has been converted.
The bridge to jump off.
The gorge to fall into.

The platform of brief regrets.
